Don’t go out without your Wynnum sticker.  You never know who might see you.

Our spies will be out and about taking photos of cars with the bumper sticker on, and every month we will draw one rego and the owner of that car will win a prize!

Last month the prize was sponsored by a new dining experience in Wynnum – restaurant Casa di Louie in Bay Terrace.

The six winners over the next six months will also go into a draw to win a free cruise for up to 10 people in Moreton Bay aboard Spirit of Koomooloo. Rest assured this will be a leisurely cruise, not a race (unless of course you want one!).

Spirit of Koomooloo is one of Australia’s most famous boats, having competed in 25 Sydney to Hobart Races and represented Australia in three Admirals Cup races. She is a 49 ft S&S designed sloop launched in 1968.

An Australian Government funded advisory service for Brisbane’s small business operators will be launched at the end of January. Our Chamber won the only contract for the metropolitan area, including Redlands. The contract is initially for a two year period ending December 2014. As in 2009, Pete Baines will lead the Brisbane 2 Bayside SBAS program. Recruitment of mentors is curently being finalised and a further announcement will be made on 14th January. Small businesses can start registering for this free service from Wednesday 16th.
