We can’t offer you small business finance or grants but we can offer quality advisory services to help you improve your bottom line. These services include:
Small Business Online
This is an Australian Government funded initiative under the Small Business Online program.
The Small Business Online program is an Australian Government initiative to equip small businesses to go online and improve their web presence. Being active in the online space will enable small businesses to take up the vast array of opportunities that engaging in the digital economy can offer.
Wynnum & Districts Chamber of Commerce was awarded a grant to develop and deliver, through all Chambers of Commerce on the south-side of the Brisbane River, an online-based program to build the capacity of small businesses. Through this program, our website mentors help small businesses to go online by offering information and advice on establishing an effective online presence.
The series of workshops that underpin this program are being conducted at Cleveland, Wynnum, Springwood and Kangaroo Point. Check it out at www.smallbusinessonlineqld.com.au
Small Business Advisory Service
How we can assist small business
Early in 2009 the Wynnum & Districts Chamber of Commerce was awarded a contract by the Australian Government, through AusIndustry, to deliver free and low-cost Small Business Advisory Services to business across the south-east Brisbane region. This contract has given the Chamber the resources to expand its offerings to members. The contract expired at the end of 2009 however we have pledged that a scaled-down version of the service will continue into 2010 and beyond, as a permanent free service for financial Chamber members only.
NOTE: Members who wish to access this service will need to attend the Business Centre as we don’t have a budget to support travel to and from individual businesses.
This service provides an exclusive sponsorship opportunity. Call us now to find out how your business can be aligned with this important member service.
The services currently offered include:
- Business and Marketing Planning advice (facilitation of plans will attract a fee)
- Referral Service
- Mentoring
These services are offered in both “face-to-face” and “telephone” formats and certain charges apply for health checks and planning activities.
